Getting From Tirana To Shkoder Albania By Bus

To go to Shkoder, you need to take a bus from the regional bus station. You can put into google maps “regional bus station” and it will pop up.

Any city bus that has “Kamez” or “Institut” written on it will take you there. I took the L5 bus, L2 will also take you there.

Use the Moovit app to see where these buses depart from. You can type “regional bus station” as the destination. The only thing is that the app won’t show all the options. So I only used it to see which bus stop to wait for the bus.

Sometimes bus conductors shout “Terminal estacion” – this is where it goes.

The ticket price is 40 ALL (Lek)

The city bus will stop in front of the bus station, where there’s a ton of bus departing to various places in Albania (Northern region from the looks of it)

Look for the bus with Shkoder written on it. Mine departed a few rows down, on the left side, as you enter the bus station.

You pay on the bus, 330 ALL.

The bus journey takes about 2.5 hours depending on the traffic.

In Shkoder, the bus stops before the roundabout and in front of Hotel Rozafa. (There is a mosque to the right as well). You won’t miss it, as it is the final stop.
